My story

Hello, my name is Cameron Courtney. I am the Owner of Mobility Tactics; a business that focuses on strategies for lifestyle, movement, and nutrition. 

      I was born and raised in Texas, a part of a huge family of blue bloods, and I myself was a proud 4th generation Police Officer, and later a Special Weapons And Tactics Leader (SWAT) United States Military. For most of my life my passion has been improvement; for self & others! For me, running saved me from self destruction, got me through my parent’s divorce, and the challenges of early education. However, a few years into it my body began to break down. Through good coaching, and self exploration I learned about the importance of nutrition, form, stretching, and strength training.

      In the military, I had the honor of shaping airmen for battle. This required high levels of strength, endurance, and mental fortitude. Seeing young men and women go from mediocre troops to skilled and conditioned warriors gave me the highest form of fulfillment. I went from wanting to save people on the battlefield to saving them in their day-to-day life. The majority of my friends, family, and co-workers were very unhealthy, and I knew how lifestyle choices, physical activity, and nutrition impacted my overall health, so I decided to reach out and help them.

      Sharing fitness and self-improvement with others has become my life’s mission. This is why I founded Mobility Tactics where my passion is to work with people through all phases of life and shift self-limitations to strategic mobilized actions!

      My goal is to practice and develop strategies for the following: mobility, strength, endurance, nutrition, adventure, and character growth.

      My aspiration is to share with the world the power of health and self-betterment, and to help all my clients feel great and have fun as they achieve their fullest potential.

A procedure or set of maneuvers engaged in to achieve an end, an aim, or a goal

Mobility in regards to the body, requires a joint or series of joints to move through a full range of motion in the most efficient way possible.  Mobility = Movement

Mobility in the body requires movement of nutrients throughout our body for building and replenishing of healthy cells.  If it all stopped there would be no health.  Mobility = Health

Mobility is needed by every Warrior in order to: run, jump, climb, push, pull, crawl, and fight!   Mobility may be the difference between a healthy or injured state, or worse- life or death.  Mobility = Life

Mobility does not just stop at the body, but connects to all facets of life. Life may require us to move  forward, side to side, and backward at times. But with proper mobility you’ll be able to drive towards victory, and pivot when road blocks get in the way.  Mobility = Success

Mobility Tactics is a business that believes so strongly in mobility that the business itself is mobile.  The gym attaches and stores to the vehicle and is capable of going anywhere: homes, offices, parks, and any place you think of.
